A small team based in Southeast Asia. We are former IELTS test takers who scored highly, and we remember what preparing for it was like: scattered materials, no feedback on writing or speaking, and no way to tell whether we were ready.

Built by people who sat the test.
IELTS Studio is an independent IELTS preparation platform. Our aim is simple to say and hard to do: build the best all-in-one place to prepare for IELTS, for test takers around the world.
What we are building
One place to prepare for all four skills. Listening and Reading tests that mark themselves, Writing and Speaking practice with feedback on each marking criterion, full mock tests, and guides that explain how the test works.
Who it is for
IELTS test takers anywhere in the world, sitting Academic or General Training, whether you are starting out or half a band from the score you need.
What we are not
We are not an IELTS test centre and we are not affiliated with the organisations that run the test. You book the real exam through the British Council or IDP.
How scoring works here
Listening and Reading are marked the way the real test marks them: one mark for each correct answer, converted to a band with the published conversion tables.
Writing and Speaking are assessed by AI against the public IELTS band descriptors. You get a band for each of the four criteria, with the specific sentences or moments that held it down, so you know what to work on next.
Every band we show is an estimate. Only a certificated IELTS examiner can award an official score. Use our bands to see where you stand and whether you are improving, not as a promise of your result.
Your writing stays yours. The essays you submit are not used to train AI models.
